A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the breast tissue. Breast lifts without implants are a suitable procedure for women who are happy with the size, shape and fullness of their breast but would like to correct sagging and change the position of the nipples.
Contributing factors to breast sagging are: pregnancy, breast feeding, weight loss, aging and genetics.

- You are self-conscience about your sagging breasts.
- You have stretched skin and enlarged areolas.
- Your breasts hang unevenly.
- You have stretch marks and enlarged areolas.
A breast lift takes approximately three hours and is performed while you are under general anesthesia. There are several techniques used, dependent on degree of sagging, areola size and the extent of skin removal required. Our surgeon will select the best technique to minimize scarring.
Once you are under general anesthesia an incision is made and the breast tissue is lifted and reshaped. The nipple and areola are repositioned and if necessary the areola is resized. Finally, the excess skin is removed and the incision is stitched closed.
Recovery Time in Thailand
After surgery the surgeon applies dressings to provide support during the initial healing process. A small tube is inserted to drain excess fluid and you are moved to a hospital recovery room for a 2 nights. During the hospital stay you are monitored by hospital nursing staff and given instruction for continued post-hospital care until the body has completely healed.
Discomfort is to be expected during recovery. Medications for pain and infection prevention will be prescribed by the surgeon and administered by the hospital staff. The surgeon will provide additional prescriptions and instruction for post-hospital medications before you leave the hospital.
After 7 days you will have a final check-up by the surgeon and will be ready to return home, or to continue your holiday in Thailand. Within two weeks normal activities can be resumed, however, heavy physical activities and exercise should be avoided for 4 to 6 week.
